  • From Street Level GoPro Imagery

    We know it is hard & costly to identify crops from overhead imagery. That's why we use street level image data from GoPro Hero 8. By estimating the depth from street level images, we can localize crops on satellite maps

  • Feature Extraction with State-of-the-Art Detectors

    We do feature extraction within bounding boxes. The better the detector, the more differences it sees in similar looking plants.

  • OUR STORY

    We were the only team to be selected by NASA Harvest to proceed to the second round of Gravity Challenge 2021 and now, we have been chosen to work closely with the team in the Scale Phase of this competition. This competition is organized by Deloitte. NASA Harvest is a leading consortium of scientists and agricultural stakeholders.

     

     

    We work closely with Dr Hannah Kerner and Dr Catherine Nakalembe of University of Maryland to make this project into a reality and support their mission of enabling adoption of satellite Earth observations by public and private organizations in the US and worldwide to benefit food security, agriculture, and human and environmental resiliency.
